Reduced Consumption

In addition to providing access to cheaper energy, the Street Smart Energy program is designed to actively reduce the energy consumption of businesses and residential consumers in a sustainable and measureable manner.

For businesses, this can be achieved through rigorous energy audits, behavioural change programs and investment in required upgrades, with a target reduction of up to 30% for most organisations. For residential consumers, we recommend actions that can be taken to actively decrease energy consumption when consumers join the Street Smart Energy buying pool.
